History of the Paralympic Games

根据国际残奥委会于2021年11月19日正式确定的竞赛项目名单[7]，2024年巴黎残奥会共549个单项，与2020年东京残奥会相比增加10个小项，为女性提供了更多的运动员名额[8]。 巴黎残奥会的吉祥物为残奥弗里热（Phryges），灵感源自于弗里热亚无边便帽，为法国大革命的象征女神玛丽安娜所戴的帽子，代表法兰西共和国的其中一个象征 – 自由；而残奥弗里热与奥运弗里热的不同之处是残奥版的右脚是装上义肢，是残奥会历史上第一个装有义肢的吉祥物。 为了突出奥运与残奥同等重要的理念，两张海报既可以被看做单独的两幅作品，又可合二为一成为一张巨幅的完整海报，左边是奥运，右边是残奥。

Competition Venues

The 2024年夏季残疾人奥林匹克运动会 will feature a range of competition venues across Paris and its surrounding areas. The Grand Palais will host the wheelchair fencing and Para table tennis occasions, whereas the Stade de France would be the venue for the athletics competitions. Other venues include the Paris Aquatic Centre, the Le Bourget Exhibition Centre, and the Champ de Mars Arena.
